Has anyone noticed when you get your hub at set it up ATM PVC search in link configuration is ticked. this has the effect of getting the hub to decide on vci and vpi and also the modulation. now set up instructions say settings should be:
VPI = 0
VCI = 38
Encapsulation: Routed VC-Mux
but with this ticked the hub chooses
VPI = 0
VCI = 38
Encapsulation: Routed LLC
so to get the VC-mux modulation via the settings set in link configuration you need to untick it.
i`m on upto 20meg upgraded from upto 8meg (connection/speed worse than before if anyones wondering)
I just don`t get why if the settings have to be RT VC-Mux why the exchange pushes RT LLC modulation any thoughts.. ?
